If… not India, how about London’s best Indian food? Sunday’s NYT’s article by Mark Bittman, “In London, Flavors of India Without the Fuss,” critiques what he considers London’s best Indian food. While I was there in 2010 writing Walk London, I was impressed with the quality and quantity of Indian food at every corner. It’s like Pizza in NYC.
Of Bittman’s selections, Sitaaray was my choice. Why? The location at Covent Garden. While you explore the shops and entertainment at the Garden, why not take a break to enjoy some of London’s best Indian food.
As I mentioned, in 2010 I adopted Elephant Family as my charity. Their efforts to save the Indian elephants is impressive. In this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zU5xzeg4VY&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL4CDCD7CC4974A966) Sharon Evans and I discuss the work Elephant Family is accomplishing.
I hope you are planning a spring adventure and these suggestions will help make your dreams come true.
